Reactoons
& Bartoons
Original characters, illustrated worlds and animated rap performances. A creative partnership bringing illustration and music together on screen.
Building Reactoons with Dale Green.
I co-founded Reactoons with my business partner, Dale Green, as an animation company. The partnership gave us a platform to create original animated content and develop our own series.
My contribution covered the visual work and animation: I illustrated the characters and backgrounds, then brought those illustrations to life using Adobe Character Animator. Working across both stages allowed me to carry the character of the artwork through into the finished videos.
Freestyles with an animated identity.
Through Reactoons, Dale and I created Bartoons: an animated freestyle series for rappers, featuring both up-and-coming talent and established names.
The series brought rap performances into an illustrated setting, with characters and backgrounds created for the animation. It connected my work as an illustrator with music-led content, giving each performance a visual presence beyond a conventional filmed freestyle.
From illustration to performance.
Illustrating the cast
I created the character illustrations that formed the visual foundation of the animations.
Creating the setting
I illustrated the backgrounds, giving the characters a world to perform within.
Bringing the artwork to life
I animated the illustrated characters using Adobe Character Animator, turning static artwork into moving performances.

A shared idea, brought to life.
Reactoons and Bartoons brought together my character illustration, background design and animation work within a business I built with Dale Green. The resulting series shows how original artwork can become a format for music and performance.
